The story of a Vietnamese family following the fall of Saigon. The plot is a trilogy of stories. The husband goes to a re-education (concentration) camp while the wife, son and husband's mother escape to the United States. A story of hope being maintained among some very dark days. This film is at times difficult to watch but is a testament to the endurance of the human spirit.
